Dear Advice Guy,

I’ve been dating this guy for about a week now. I want to kiss him but I’ve never kissed anyone before. Help me please!

From,

Never-Been-Kissed

Dear Never-Been-Kissed,

Thank you for telling me your deep, dark secret about having never kissed a guy before. It makes me feel special. When it comes to learning how to kiss, I’m your man! Don't tell him its your first time, as it comes off as a weird approach. Act like it’s all natural. Be cool about it. Shaking or sweating is definitely a turn-off. Now that you have those mind set, let’s get down to the basics.

The first step to kissing someone is form. You've got to have form. Without form, there’s no hope. First, put your upper lip curled and kind of puffed out, but not too much, so you look like a fish. Then, do the same with your bottom lip, but not as much as the first. You can practice in front of a mirror a couple times just to get the hang of it. Once you have that mastered, you then can move on to the “lean.” The “lean” involves controlled speed and stamina. You don’t want to lean in too much as you don’t hurt your partner. Just make sure your lips and neck are parallel to his. Then, using your neck muscle, slowly move in with your lips puckered and ready to go. Once you have reached his lips, the third and final step comes in, the “release.” This is usually the step where the people mess up the most. When you are in the kissing state (the actual lip to lip state), you count three seconds and then perform the release. All you have to do is close your lips, suck in a little bit and pop, so you make that “kissing sound.” If you make the sound like you heard it in the movies, your mission is complete! Follow these steps, practice them and you got yourself a kisser!

And once again, thank you so much for your time and questions. We really appreciate it at The Beckman Chronicle. And just remember, whenever you need anything answered, The Beckman Chronicle Advice will get all your knotted questions answered the exciting and right way!

From,

Sandro Pozzuoli
