Christina gives it all she's got in the jump rope event.
Field Day at St. Veronica's Summer Camp showed us that we can do anything we put our minds to!

Baltimore City was experiencing a heat wave, so running around was the furthest thing from our minds, but Miss Smith encouraged us to do our best in all the games and once we got into it, we forgot how hot it was!

Miss Smith and Mr. Mitchell demonstrated the various games--the relay races, the potato sack race, the baton race, the over-and-under game, and the jump rope hop--and then it was our turn! There was many a stumble and fall, but the important thing was that we got back up and kept on going! We also learned the value of teamwork and cheering on our fellow athletes.

Field Day was hard work, but at the end of the day we felt proud about all we had accomplished.
