There are a lot of students in DMHS that have art running in their veins. We have a lot of different kinds of artist. We have painters, poets, writers, and singer.

You may not notice that the guy who is nicely sitting next to you with the guitar may be the next Nikki Sixx. And the girl who shy fully sits behind you can be the next Frida Kahlo.

There is a lot of art running around school. A lot of kids who are about what they are going to paint next.

No one really knows if you are born with the artistic talent, or that if later on in your first couple of years, you gain so much knowledge that it be comes almost natural to you. Or maybe you are race with paintings, or music around you. It’s a magical thing that no one can really being to neither understand nor explain it, it just happens.

One of the places where you can see, the work of art of your fellow students is in the front of the class of Ms. Bliss.

If you are in love with any type of art, music, painting, writing, or acting you should join a club or a class. Like for example, if you are into music, you could get into band with Mr. Martini. But if you are into acting you should join the odyssey club, they have a lot of good actors coming out of that club, but their is also the drama club, it doesn’t really has to do that much with acting, but we all have a great time, laughing etc…now if you are into painting we have Ms. Bliss, she is one if the art teachers. But if what really moves you is writing we don’t have the poetry club any more but we have Vicky Rodriguez, she is in charge of the pieces of poetry that goes into the RAMPAGE.

So now you know, about our art in DMHS. You know where to go if you are into music, painting, writing and acting, you should get a group of your friends, who want to do the same thing as you, and go talk to a teacher and also to Mr. Ceja or to Mr. Hernandez and try to convince them to let you have a dancing or singing club.

If you have art running in your veins and you want to expose your passion, what better way to show it than in school. Later on, keep on going to college, and then get paid for doing some thing that you truly love to do.
