A new school year has started, meaning the second senior class is here. They're packed with energy, proud, and full of school spirit. So how do they feel about finally being seniors?

Christian Barraza- “I feel happy, excited, and a little sad, because I won’t see my underclassmen friends. I’m also a little stressed.”

Luis Magana- “Just another year with more hard work and challenges, but you get to go on field trips.”

Yecenia Carranza- “Well, I don’t feel different, but it's fun to be looked up to, and cool to make fun of the underclassmen.”

Yaneth Garcia- “It feels great because it’s my last year of school, but I’m a little down because I’m going to miss my friends.”

Chelsey Klee- “I feel like a rock star! There’s a lot of pressure trying to make sure everything goes to plan, and I’m sure in the end we’ll go out with a BIG BANG. CLASS OF 2008 ROCKS!”

about the new year. They've been waiting since they were freshmen to feel what it is to be a senior, their last year of high-school . They're proud, excited, and couldn’t be happier. Being a senior also means their last year of being treated like children. That’s where the mixed feelings come in, and the happiness turns to sadness. Especially once they've realized all those years of school and hard work has come to this, their final year. For seniors, it's the most amazing, and the most exciting feeling of high-school.
