If there is anything we know about self esteem, it’s that having low self esteem can wreck your life. There are many symptoms that show a person has low self esteem. If a person has an addiction to drugs, alcohol, food, or spending money, etc., it is a sign of someone who isn’t happy with their life. If you are finding that you are having an addiction to something that may not be the best thing for you, consider the information this addition is hiding from you. When you discover the facts, you will begin in a place of healing your low self-esteem.

A person should never think any negative thoughts about themselves. We always hear the negative but we rarely hear the positive. Say to yourself every night five positive things about yourself. This will help you realize all of the talents your own. It may sound like you’re being conceited, but it will assist you in obtaining a higher self esteem.

In addition, giving compliments to someone you don’t know as well can make their day! Wouldn’t you love it if a person you didn’t know very well gave you a compliment about something you felt wasn’t that good about yourself? We all love sincere compliments. It makes us better people with more confidence. Everyone wants to be friends with someone who has great confidence in their selves. People are attracted to others who are not afraid of what others think. Walk with your head held high and always have a smile on your face. Smiles are contagious and show that you are a positive and happy person. No one wants to be around someone who is always gossiping or showing rude face expressions toward others.

Self esteem is an exceedingly vital part in a person’s life. Have confidence wherever you go and you will have multiple friends. Show the people around you that you are not afraid of what others think about you and your self esteem will continue to grow.
