Richard Garriott, creator of the Ultima Online video game series, is leading an expedition to the International Space Station to bestow a select few gamers the ultimate reward: eternal life.
            Garriott will be launched into orbit via a Russian Soyuz spacecraft, taking with him the DNA of several people who won a contest surrounding his most recent game, Tebula Rasa.

            The DNA will be taken and put into the onboard storage where it will subject to cloning experiments in the near future. Yes, just for winning a contest, these people get the privilege of possibly having a carbon copy of themselves running around in the future.         
            This idea has excited several students.  
            “This is tight, having a potential other-me running around in the future, now I can do whatever I want,” Junior Wesley Tedlock said.
             Garriott ventured into the cosmos last October, making history as the first second-generation astronaut to go into space. His expedition has also been met with great praise by both the science and video game community, so much so that he is planning to make it again in the near future.

            Unfortunately for gamers, Tebula Rasa has been run out of the online PC gaming community by World of Warcraft and is no longer available for purchase. This makes the opportunity for DNA transporting and immortality indeed thinner but not lost.
