Tyler Acker accepted a baseball scholarship to Middle Tennessee State University." I am so excited to be able to play baseball in college. It's something I've always wanted to do," says Acker.

Lauren Carter has also accepted an athletic scholarship, but for vollyball to Cumberland University.

Recentley the following seniors have received acceptance letters to Tennessee colleges.

* Stephanie Rollins has been accepted to MTSU.

* Britney Barrett has two options, MTSU and Western Kentucky.

* Amanda Elliott has decided to attend University of Tennessee at Chattanooga

Some colleges take longer to send letters of acceptance. University of Tennessee Knoxville's acceptance letters will be distributed from December 2006 to Febuary of 2007.

Tori Dice, who has applied to several prestigious universities in California, won't learn of her acceptance until early April, which is the earliest California colleges notify applicants.
