This movie opens with a family dealing with the loss of a wife and a mother. Benjamin is the father of two kids, Dylan and Rosie. He is trying to be a good single dad while struggling to keep his job in journalism. He is worried about how he will feed and clothe his children if he loses his job.  He decides to sell his house and tries to find a new job. Benjamin stumbles upon a shabby, run-down zoo and takes a huge risk. The risk pays off because he whips the zoo into shape and it’s wonderful.  As much as this is an adorable movie, it is completely cliché and unrealistic. It would be difficult to make a run down zoo successful, but I still absolutely loved this movie.
