At-a-glance

All Time Low -

After school on April 8th, 2008, a group of friends and I traveled to The Palladium in Worcester to attend the 2008 AP tour. Co-headliners of this year’s tour were pop-punk band All Time Low and pop-rock artist The Rocket Summer. A supporting line-up of Sonny, Forever The Sickest Kids, and The Matches completed the show.

Doors opened at 6 o’clock for the sold out show, with Forever The Sickest Kids performing first at 7. They played about a five song set, then took off to their merch table to sign autographs for fans.

The next performer was Sonny. Formerly of From First To Last, Sonny left to pursue a solo-career, and now plays a classical electronic type of music.

Next up was alternative-rock band The Matches. One of the best performances of the night, they put out a high energy show.

Co-headliner The Rocket Summer played next. Though Bryce Avary records all instruments and vocals, he performed with a whole band, but made sure to show off his talent of all instruments.

The last performance of the night was the other co-headliner All Time Low. The entire crowd was excited to see these boys perform. They played an amazing set, and told great jokes. It was definitely the best performance of the night.

The 2008 AP tour turned out to be one of the best live shows I have ever seen. The lineup was just right to keep the crowds attention, and all the bands put on great sets.
