Although not widely know, "Three Day Grace" is one of the greatest rock band of all times. They originally started off as a cover band under the name "Groundswell" which produced only one record then disbanded. Later three members of "Groundswell" formed a new band under the name "Three Day Grace".
"Three Day Grace" consisted of Adam Gontier's vocals. Neil Sanderson on drums and back up vocals and Drad Walst on bass. They started off as a cover band and a kicker band for concerts. While their first demo consisted of only three songs, it sold over a hundred copies. In their demo they discuss the meaning behind the name 3dg: they say to them it meant a second chance in life, like a grace period. Later Barry Stock became the lead guitar player. The majority of their songs are about life experiences. They tell teens what the consquences of drugs and affairs. "Three Day Grace" became widely known the release of their debut album "One-X". They were voted top artist in two countries and top song in Canada. This band's hard work tries to help teens to better their lives by inspiring teens to avoid drugs and gang violence.
