"Beach Spikers" is a wonderful beach volleyball game created by the people at Sega-AM2, and available for play on Nintendo's Gamecube. Although it has great old-school game play, there are things you can do to improve your game.

Of course, no game is complete without cheats. You can unlock extra outfits by entering "JUSTICE", "DAYTONA", "FVIPERS", "ARAKATA", "PHANTA2", or "OHTORII", as your name at the World Tour screen. Additionally, if you hold R while selecting "Arcade" on the main menu, you can play on all of the stages.

The most useful cheat, however, is the performance meter. If you hold both L+R while the announcer announces the countries, you will see exactly how well both you and your partner are doing.

The World Tour is the hardest thing to do in this game. Primary you will lose the first six rounds consistently, because your partner has absolutely no skill. Here are some tips to help you start winning more quickly; First, you should distribute your points as evenly as possible, but when you get a few extra points, always put them down on Response, Toss, and Receive. These are the three attributes that hurt your partner the worst during the start of the tour.

About 2 times a match, you are given a chance to evaluate your partner. If you are winning, and your partner is performing near perfectly, then Praise. If your partner is doing well, then in all other situations you shouldn't do anything. If your partner is doing a bit worse than you, then you should Encourage. However, if your partner is doing badly, and you are losing by a large margin, Reprimand. This is why the performance meter is so useful.

Before you place the blame of a poor performance on your partner, make sure you at least have watched the videos in the Tutorial section. Although only two buttons are required to play this game, often mistakes will occur by pressing the wrong buttons at the wrong time.
