Last Tuesday night the varsity basketball team took on the Incarnate Word Angles. The game was a battle between the two teams throughout the four periods. “Our record may not be the greatest but we will always go all out no matter the opponent” said Junior Kevin Lynch.

With Kevin’s defense and the guards jump shot ability the Pirates put up a fight any coach would be proud of.

The pirates were inching in on the Angels with every shot, but couldn’t quite pull out ahead in the end. Though the tough loss the Pirates displayed there ability to put up a fight against any opponent and they will not be letting their guard down.

Pirate fans look forward for our boys to bust open and take on opponents nobody thought they could.
