With football season ending, guys are jumping into the next big sport of interest:  basketball. They have already started practicing for the upcoming season in hopes of starting great right off the bat.

Their first game is Tuesday, November 18 against Incarnate Word Academy, away.

    
“We’re shooting for district.” Freshman Skylor Womble said. “We would like to be undefeated this year.”

Other members of the team feel the same.. “We want the team to play their best, so we can go undefeated,” freshman Tai Temple said.

They both agreed that “Incarnate Word is the team to beat. We have never beaten them before so we would like to this year,” they added.

This is going to be a great season so come out to support your freshman guy’s basketball team!
