Multicultural Group is collecting money at Laramie High School to aid LHS families this holiday season.

The money will go to the Holiday Helpers to help families in any way. The Holiday Helpers are an organization that collects money to help out families during the holidays. The money aids families in many different ways. The money can go towards helping families with the expensive food costs for the Christmas dinner or just giving money a little to finish the dinner off. The money is also for parents who are a little short on money this year and need to buy presents for their children. Overall, the money helps out needy families that are short on money this holiday season.

At LHS, students will be dropping their spare change after lunch in

Earlier teachers are asked to bring any kind of container, such as a shoe box or a coffee can, to their classroom for their students. Each class is competing against each other to have the most money. For the next two weeks, Multicultural Group will count the money in the containers.

The three classes that have the most money will win a party that is supplied by the Multicultural Group. The parties will be held on Dec. 21. There will be three different kinds of parties: an ethic food party, a cookies and milk party, and a pizza party.
