Not a lot of students take into consideration the sweat and hard work that is put into the making of homecoming. While some students are busy shopping for dresses or preparing for the big game, student council members are hard at work planning, preparing, and setting up for the big events. Mr. Green and Miss Jensen are the co-sponsors that overlook everything that goes into the making of Plano High School’s Haunted Homecoming.

Every year student council members set up for the homecoming dance in the high school gym during the Friday before the big day. “Miss Jensen is involved with cheerleading, and I’m involved with football, so it’s kind of difficult,” said Mr. Green when discussing the disadvantages to planning homecoming. “I love working with the students, that’s the best part” he added. With all the multi-tasking, it seems hard to meet all deadlines, but Green was confident with completing all tasks on time, “of course, we always do.”

As for the new haunted theme, Mr. Green was very excited. “I think it’s awesome! It’s about time!”
