The swine flu, the next pandemic of the world or a mild passerby like its predecessor the avian influenza commonly known as the bird flu. What exactly is the bird flu? According to the World Health Organization it is a combination of swine, human and bird flu which can not spread from human to human, something is supposedly could not do before. The symptoms are similar to those of the human flu and include sore throat, aching limbs, headaches, and general malaise. However, there are reports of swine flu also causing diarrhea and vomiting.
The World Health Organization has already raised the health advisory in the United States and Mexico to level six, with 150 deaths in Mexico City and about 12 reported cases in the United States. Many are asking however is there need to cause this much panic over the flu. Records show that it’s been around for almost 20 years, and many of the past infected people survived. However only time will tell the severity of this disease.
