It was a monumental even that can never be redone. It was also the final performance for 4 of Desert Edge’s memorable seniors.

On May 4th and 5th, the fine arts department put on the first musical production ever held here at Desert Edge.

Opening night had its struggles, but closing night was unbelievable with so many different genres of music entertaining the audience. Songs including “Oklahoma!”, “Guys and Dolls”, “West Side Story”, “Rent”, “Les Misérables”, “Chorus Line”, “Gigi, Kiss Me Kate”, “Shall We Dance”, “The Sound of Music” and “Newsies”, flowed harmoniously from the stage.

This was the best performance yet, and some actors and actresses proved truly amazing. They stood out from all others.

Mr. Beal, Ms. Killebrew, and Mr. Nelson put on an amazing performance. They revealed some of Desert Edge’s most extraordinary talent.
