On April 23, 2009, the Teague Lion Band had try-outs for the positions of jr. high twirler, high school twirler, high school flag, field technicions, and drum major and assistant drum majors. Those making high school twirler for the 2009-2010 school year are: Genea Cannon-captain, Kelsey Crockett, Kelly Mushinski, Renee Looney, and Ashley Morris. The alternates for the line are Courtney Chatham and Kimberly Persons. The lucky students who are members of the flag line for the 2009-2010 year are: Shaneice Coleman-captain, Brandy Dixon-captain, Natalie Yeaman-captain, Megan Cockerham-captain, Nakisha Scott, Markie Hertel, Brionna Fisk, Yazmihn West, Kera Abram, Denice Joplin, Carly Atchley, and Brandy McNett. The field technicions for next year include: Wade Barrington, Stephen Davenport, Markiesha Warren, and Samuel Remmers. The 2009-2010 drum majors are Andrea Johnson, and the Taylor Hamilton, assistant. Congratulations to all who will be representing the Teague Lion Band next year.
