Every woman should have access to a safe and legal abortion. When a woman is raped or engaged in incest, forcing her to keep the baby will do nothing other than cause more physiological harm to her and the child.

In some cases other than just rape and incest, a woman should have the right to get an abortion whether the reason is that she is too young and immature to take care and raise a child or she is not financially stable to support a child. A woman should not have morals imposed on her about whether an abortion is wrong or right. We have the freedom of religion, we also should have the freedom of morals and the freedom to choose.

An unborn baby is an embryo or a blob of tissue. It is only an inch long and it is not capable of thought or surviving on its own outside of the womb. Calling abortion murder is an overly dramatic scare tactic.

Legal abortions are safe and if the government were to make them illegal again, woman would have to switch back to dangerous back-alley procedures. Abortions also reduce the number of unwanted and abused children in the US. Often when teenagers get pregnant and keep the unwanted baby, they are forced to drop out of school which can only lead to a growth in poverty.
