$0After six years of coming up short in their league, the Lions varsity soccer team felt It was their duty to win in their division. As they approached the final game of the season that would determine the outcome of their League,  they faced many obstacles.$0$0 As it rained and the Wind blew during there last game of the season. They were worried that the bad weather would affect their chances of winning, but there was no stopping them from winning. " We had to warm up in the locker because of the unbearable weather", said Salvador Rosales. University high school was the team to beat, which stood between their glories. The varsity soccer team had previously defeated them at their wild cats dome 3-2. Now they came to the lion’s den to face them one more time, and the lions won the last match of their season. "This time we came with more than just skills and devotion, playing something in the field that inevitably brings success to any team, and that's heart," said Jason Caballeros$0$0$0Unfortunately their championship game was not in favor of them, but their opponent: Manuel Arts. In the beginning of their game the lions managed to make a goal and have control of the field. As the second half began, Manuel Arts made a goal on Jeffrey Hernandez [goalie] and tied the game. As the game progressed the lions began to get tense and worried for themselves towards their defense. A few minutes later Manuel Arts made a goal and regained their confidence, while the varsity soccer team were starting to "give up”. It was a hopeless moment to watch when the lions were lowering themselves in the ability to win, as Manuel Art made another goal, Making the score3-1.  Within seven minutes they were trying to gain hope and try to get closer to the goalie but did not succeed. As the time went by to a minute, the players were starting to sob and having disappointed faces. As for Manuel Art which continued to try to make another goal. $0$0$0As the final Whistle blew " I felt as if my heart wasn't in my body” Jeffrey said. With their hopes of making history the lions were more than disappointed. “ To see my team mates cry it broke me and I felt out of place, and since I was the goalie I felt very bad, because it's my job not to let the ball go in, and i did" said Hernandez$0$0$0 Once they walked out of the field there was silence,from the parents, girlfriends, friends, sponsors, recruiters, and the lions. “Is that it?” Yafi Fayruz said. The result of their loss was unbearable for not only the coach but for the lions, which had, dreams and hopes to take city.$0
