I have been at Leonardo da Vinci for four years. It seems like only yesterday that I walked in this school for the first time and was ready to take on high school. Now I have to be ready to take on college, which is a whole other challenge. For me, high school was fun and when it was not fun, we would make it fun. We have all had our share of laughs and at times even tears, and also drama. (But our friends have helped us in those departments.)
By going to da Vinci I have found so many good friends. Now I am just going to say friends in general because I want to. You know if I am your friend or not. I am going to miss my friends most of all, but I’ll see you guys in the summer. At first I was thinking about going to a different school before I put da Vinci as my first choice, but I am so happy I chose da Vinci. If I didn’t choose da Vinci, I would have not met the greatest friends ever, and have friendships that will last forever.
My teachers at da Vinci were amazing. There was no teacher that had the same teaching technique or personality. Each teacher was unique in their own way. It was that special something that made you love that teacher, even if we didn’t like them. I have learned a lot from all the teachers that I had. So, thanks to the teachers for putting up with us.
Goodbye? I really don’t think it’s goodbye for some people. We are still going to talk to the people that we actually like. It is not like we are going to not talk to our friends ever again. I think it is mostly a goodbye to the school and teachers. We are leaving our teachers and school behind and moving on in life. Even though we say, “I cannot wait to graduate,” we are still going to miss Leonardo da Vinci no matter what. That’s the place we have been for the last 4 years, it’s the place where we have grown up. So, I guess it’s time to say goodbye to Leonardo da Vinci.
