BET's New Late Night Hit Embed This Article
                                     Talk Show -or- Comedy Show?
African American females have made their own path in the entertainment business by jump starting their very own television shows. In my opinion, Oprah Winfrey is the first successful black women to host a talk show. Successfully following her have been Tyra Banks, Wendy Williams, and one particular female who have just established her self-entitled show.
This comedian-actress has come from doing stand up comedy in front of millions of people, to starring on the big screen with many personalities, but has now decided to take a different path and do something new. As of October 5, 2009 this well known star has been on BET every night for the past two weeks delivering what the people want to hear. She is the first black female to host a late night talk show.
Have any idea…? That’s right. I’m talking about the one, the only, Mo’Nique Imes. She is the star of “The Mo’Nique Show”. This show is full of surprises and definitely full of laughter. With this show you get different varieties of stars such as actors, comedians, entertainers, and musicians. So you decide… talk show or comedy show?
