In a scene reminiscent to The Godfather, Eliza “Elvira” Kendericks was finally apprehended by the New York Police Department. Heir to the one of the largest and most savage organized crime families in the United States, “Elvira” dropped out of sight two weeks after being captured. After numerous attempts to free her daughter, Catherine Kendericks slaughtered five police officers in retaliation before being killed in a shoot out.
“Elvira”, from the beginning had been brain washed. Not much is known about her personal life, or even if she had one. Her only duty was to serve her families business purposes and to get ready to lead when her mother would die. At the young age of six, she had started self defense classes. Ranging from Judo to Krav Maga, she has become proficient in hand to hand combat. At age eleven she began weapons training. For her weapon of choice, she picked poison tipped machete. This weapon was used in five of seven killings of children in enemy families. Her mother, who was the head of the family which was a surprising move after her husband died, strictly disciplined her. Although she rarely attended school, her mother would pay off and blackmail school officials to pass her daughter with high grades and distinction. As “Elvira” was growing up she was also taught foreign languages such as Spanish and Italian. Learning from an early age about death and destruction, she quickly became cynical.
After being targeted in an assassination plot by the Mariano family who was trying to take over the neighborhood, she began killing. The FBI developed her profile after she turned fifteen. But unfortunately they never acquired a picture of “Elvira”. Her family made sure there was never any witness to the crimes she perpetrated. Even now as the FBI agents once had her in custody, every time they try and find a school I.D. for Kendericks, they’ve turned up short handed. Whether it is by school officials being uncooperative or there never being one existing in the first place. Law enforcement officials acquired “Elvira” at a restaurant in the Bronx on Sunday July, 16, 2006.Arriving right before she was about to attempt to kill an undercover cop; the SWAT team swarmed the half full eatery and handcuffed her.
Unfortunately two weeks before her trial she went missing. It is not confirmed but is rumored she struck a deal with the New York District Attorney Robert M. Morgenthau. In return for witness protection she would inform him with any details she obtains about her family business. Her name is now changed and she is believed to now reside in the Buffalo NY area. Any search to find “Elvira” is being blocked by Law Enforcement.
