On Halloween Day, Venice High is sponsoring two contests. The first contest is for door decorations. A costume contest will be held on the junior lawn at lunchtime.

Homerooms have been asked to decorate their doors for Halloween. Doors will be judged during second period, and the class that wins will get a pizza party.

“The door decorations need to be creative and original,” said Ms. Sophie Sabbah.

Prizes will be offered for the scariest, creative, and most original costumes. “It really doesn’t matter what type of costume it is,” said Ms. Sabbah. The winner for the costume contest will win two tickets for the Homecoming dance on Nov. 4. The students in the audience will be the judges of the costume contest. The one with the most applauses will win.
