“Will you go to prom with me?” is straight to the point but lacks creativity.
The way you ask your dream date to prom is important. If you ask them to prom in a funny or memorable way, your chances of being turned down are slim.
Remember almost every girl wants to be asked in a way that they will look back on and smile.
“I would like to be asked one on one…it’s more romantic,” says senior Yesenia Cedillos.
Something as simple as putting a big Hershey’s kiss on the hallway ground and then asking them “Now that I have kissed the ground you walked on, will you go to prom with me?” is a memorable and funny way to ask someone to prom.
Another way to ask someone to prom is by giving them their favorite flower. But instead of just giving flowers to her, make it more creative. You can have different people give her a flower while she is in her class or in the hallway. Just keep her guessing until lunch or after school. Then you can deliver the last flower with a note that says “Will you go to prom with me?”
Remember: being a little cheesy is okay when asking someone to prom. The point is to not take it too seriously.
