Fans Make The Kills First American Stop Their Best
- AARON MOLINA

A black curtain fell to the ground that revealed The Kill’s large iconic leopard printed wall. Fog gathered upon the stage and the lights dimmed down. The fans of the crowd started screaming with excitement knowing it the time finally come.

The fashionable bluesy rock band, the Kills, walked on stage as the screams of the crowd grew louder. The Kills did not keep their fans waiting and opened up with “No Wow” a post-punk and blues influenced song.

The Kills had filled the crowd with energy as Alison Mosshart, named Shockwaves NME Awards Hottest Woman, danced and waved her freak flag and Jamie Hince played his guitar.

After just three songs, The Kills were sweating from the energy that they were radiating.

It then got slow when Alison Mosshat did a cover of Patsy Cline’s Crazy which showed the power of emotion her voice had.

During a pause, Jamie Hince confessed to the crowd that Houston was the first place he came to in America. This excited the crowd and started a cheer.

When The Kills finished, the crowd yelled for an encore, which brought the group back out to sing three more songs – which they started with The Last Goodbye. The slow song had the audience put their lighters and cell phones up.

The Kills put a lot of passion into their music and thanked the crowd after every song. The Kills are what music is all about!
