High school students take advantage of the rewarding opportunity to dress swap. -

It is that time of the year again. The idea of attending school has finally gotten to be normal and students have gotten into a daily routine. Although most of those walking through the halls are stuck going through the motions, there seems to be one thing on everyone’s lips: school dances.

The Halloween Dance and the Sadie Hawkins Dance tend to be low-key and anything but formal, whereas the Prom and the Snow Ball are a cause of couture uproar. Each girl is looking to find the perfect dress, but for a price. It is evident that most formal dresses are outrageously expensive. This year SCA has taken it upon themselves to tame the hysteria.

For the upcoming Snow Ball and for Prom, SCA will hold a dress swap where one can sell an old formal dress and possibly purchase another gently used one. This will help all the girls who have no idea what to do with their overpriced gowns that have only been worn for a few hours. It will also be very beneficial to all those other girls who, in the spirit of shopping, are always looking for a good bargain.
