Is it fair when you work as hard as you can to get something that you have wanted your whole life and when you finally get almost in grabbing distance of your goal someone else comes flying out of nowhere and only did half of the work that you did? Lately you hear about a lot of people, many athletes that have been finding ways to cut corners to make it to the top. Someone without an okay skill level but that has worked so hard to reach the top should be rewarded before someone with an excellent skill level and that has just breezed by in life not really putting forth any effort. Student Sarah Miller agrees, “If someone works to get something and they put forth everything then I think they should definitely get there before someone that’s just along for the ride.”

You can hear about different athletes everyday that try to make it by without actually doing anything but those who will do anything will usually prevail in the end.
