As you might guess Mr. Ditmars was quite the trouble maker in high school. From skipping class to go to Burger King, to doing outrageous things, to his red afro, he was a riot. One time in high school he decided to play a prank on one of his not so popular basketball coaches. Mr. Ditmars and his buddies found a toilet, “We did our business in the toilet and we carried the smelly, disgusting thing into the coach’s lawn and left it there,” he said proudly. Later in the year the coach found out Mr. Ditmars was part of the clan that played the little prank. The coach got a toilet of his own and on prom night he set out for revenge. While Mr. Ditmars was in the dance the coach stopped by and placed the toilet in the front seat of his car. When he and his date went to get in the car they found it sitting there. “Slightly embarrassing,” he said. Lucky for him he never got in trouble with the law during any of his pranks. Or so he says. Despite his mischievous ways, Mr. Ditmars was a good student and a great athlete at Triway High School. He played 3 years of varsity basketball and 4 years of varsity baseball. He even received All- Ohio honors his junior and senior seasons of baseball. And even though he played two sports and many pranks he still held a solid 3.2 GPA. Now you know some things you probably never knew about Mr. Ditmars. He was a great athlete; he even had a red afro and believe it or not was a big time prankster. Okay we all probably knew that already.
