Summer will be gone before you know it; enjoy it while it lasts.

School is almost over which means summer is right around the corner. A lot of students at Richland have their whole summer planned out and others are still not sure what to do, but everyone is in agreement that they are ready for a break.

“I plan on working, eating, and sleeping,” says sophomore Sam Hogan

Working all summer is not what some may have in mind, especially the seniors. They are about to enter the real world and they are not returning to high school after this year is over.

“I am going to be working this summer and hopefully everything will work out for the National Guard,” said senior Ben Griffin.

Underclassmen are going to relax and bask in the summer sun.

“I am just going to enjoy the summer and maybe find a job, but I really don’t want to,” said sophomore Maci Dowdy

When summer rolls around everyone is usually excited and cannot wait, but some people don’t want it to get here either; especially the seniors.  The junior class, however, better make big plans for this year because it’s going to fly by them fast and their next summer will be nothing like this one.

“I look forward to this summer,” said junior Harley Waller. I will probably be working but I am still going to try and enjoy myself.”

So this summer everyone live it to the fullest amount before it’s all over. Have a safe and happy summer.
