On March 26th, the Student Council held its first ever "Prom Expo". Hosted by Kevin Clyne with music by Nick Wilson, the event took place in the auditorium where runways were built and attached to the stage. All the models were seniors and donned fashionable dresses and tuxes donated by La Chic Boutique. The first model was Ashley Rieger who came out in a blue and green dress that was worn very simply, yet elegantly, with her hair up in a bun. The look was somewhat "aquatic" looking and a great way to start off the show. She was accompanied by Matt Gustavson who came out looking slick in a white tuxedo with a black shirt, lime green vest, and a white tie with lime green stripes to finish it off.

One outfit that stood out from the rest was Jackie Nash’s. She wore a very unique and different dress. It was strapless and was knee-length. The bottom portion of the dress puffed out slightly, giving it a much different appearance compared to the traditional long and sleek prom dresses. The color was navy blue. RJ Renna also wore a traditional black tux that was accompanied with a navy blue vest. He livened up the show by doing funny catwalks and poses each time.

Ending the show was Student Council President Nikki Piscioneri. She wore a black, simple dress with a white halter straps and a white section in the middle. The dress had a small cut out on each side to give it just enough flair. Along with her was Kevin Clyne who wore a black tux with a gray paisley vest and gray bowtie.

Other models of the night included Arielle Stephenson, Bobby Montaniz, Caitlin Weinsheimer, Rob Voyles, Gina Falsitta, Jamie Dice, Kelly Drummond, Steve Jones, Meaghan Chambers, Amanda Trexler, Lauren Lockel, Jason Plevik and Jena Goldberg.

After speaking with Student Council President and organizer of the event, Nikki Piscioneri, it became clear that the event needs to have more exposure if it is to be successful in the future. She said, "It has the potential to be a really nice event." While everyone enjoyed the night, it is hoped that next year’s class puts in the effort to turn this into a Lindy tradition.
