I sat down with Miss Samantha Morrow (formerly Samantha Carter) to ask her a few questions and see just how her first year of teaching had gone. The first thing I asked was if there had been anything she had enjoyed about teaching here at LCHS. She told me that she liked the "small size of the school, as it gave her the chance to know the students individually and help them more than in a large school".


The only thing she could think of when asked about her least favorite moment was the fact that she had to drive an hour each day to get here since she lives in Martin.

Afterwards, I asked her if she was planning on coming back next year, but she said that sadly she couldn’t, as she was moving to Waynesboro T.N. over the summer, and a three hour drive would be just too much.

Students at LCHS will miss her very much.  We wish her the very best.
