In their second district game of the season, the Falcons defeated Halls 23-19. Both teams played well, but it was the Falcons who got the win. Ricky Boyd, Patrick Robertson, and Rafael Tyler all played well on offense. Senior Chris Rodgers had a real good game on defense making a tackles in almost every play. Patrick broke a 60-yard run with out being touched. He also threw a 80 yard pass to Tyler. Boyd had an interception return for 30 yards.
The freshman who got a lot of playing time were Seth Turnbo, and Caylan Bargery who played almost the entire game. Both offensive lineman, Turnbo and Bargery's games are showing a lot of improvement; it really shows on the field.
Hats off to the Halls Tigers who never gave up even though they were losing. We admire their spirit.
The Falcons will now prepare to face Gibson County next week for Home coming with a kickoff at 7:00 p.m.
