I like visiting places, I really ought to do so more often, especially in this time of year in that little nook of Autumn where the trees have started turning and falling but the trees aren’t bare, and there’s just a nip of Winter in the air but it’s not freezing yet.  I had the pleasure of visiting Madison this past weekend to visit my sister, who some of you may remember was Editor in Chief that same lovely year I entered high school and began writing these articles once every few weeks.  It’s kind of amazing to think that such a silly little chickadee like me found her way into the comfy red swivel chair of ENC-dom.  Just goes to show that anyone can do cool things if they try I guess!  Or if they’re lucky.  Or if they work hard and then get a lucky break in a completely opposite direction, but really who would complain?  Or if due to a lucky break they finally learn to understand the true virtue of hard work.  Or if the true meaning of Christmas is threatened!  Oh no!  That had nothing to do with anything.  Or did it?  I’ve been starting most of these sentences with “or” and “I”.  Usually that’s pretty bad writing style, but really, who reads these things for their literary merit anyway?  I still haven’t the faintest idea what this article is about and perhaps that’s for the best.  Sometimes I even scare myself with the sorts of things I can pull out of my brain when I’m not trying to do anything in particular.
