Take it like a man

Menswear is a major trend and is the best way to stay chic. Menswear is not about gender bending but more about having a look that is very Katherine Hepburn. The ultra-preppy collared shirts (popped or unpopped) to the punk-rocker fedora are classic.

The sundress

The dress that is easy breezy and bohemian is the necessity of the season. From uber-eye-catching prints to a Grace Kelly classic white dress that is meant for the beach, sundresses will be a staple for every spring and summer, unless it snows during the spring like last year.

Flower Power

Mixing prints is the largest trend of the year. Floral pints are eternal and classic to spring but this season the floral prints have been revamped to have bursts of color or abstract flowers. If you are not ready to take the plunge into the complete chaos of prints, merely wearing one print is fine, as long as it stands out.

The Candy Shop

Colors worthy of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate factory are a staple to this year’s spring/summer collections. A hot bubble gum pink is perfectly fine and sure to blind you. A bright banana Laffy-Taffy will make you pop and a brighter, paler color will make your skin tanner.
