To be or not to be, that is often the question. Most people would rather be than not to be. It’s just so much better, especially being with someone you love.

I met a girl that makes me smile every time I see her. She’s my first thought waking up and my last thought going to sleep. Most nights I stay up really late thinking about her smile.

Her voice is the most precious sound my ears have ever heard. Her smile is the most gorgeous sight I have ever laid eyes on. Everything about her is amazing.

Every time I’m with her, I experience the feeling of true happiness. As soon as we part, I become impatient; I can’t wait for the next time we see each other. I’ve gotta tell you, it’s pretty incredible how she conquered my heart so effortlessly.

I’m not talking about Ms. Crowley, but about another lady; although Ms. Crowley is also very beautiful.

This girl makes my life worth living, and she’s the reason for my excellent school attendance. She’s my Valentine.

What’s a Valentine, you ask? Well, it’s a person whom you profess your love and give gifts to. It is part of a holiday called Valentine’s Day.

This is the perfect day for people who love each other or people who like each other but haven’t told each other that they like each other.

It all started long ago in a galaxy called the Middle Ages. Lovers started sending each other poems, flowers, and suchlike. Eventually, it turned into an international holiday.

It’s pretty much a day which allows you to express your love for one another. I like to think of it as Christmas for couples.

Unfortunately, it can also be a horrible holiday; for those who aren’t involved with anyone, it is a sad and gloomy twenty-four hours.

But fear not my, single readers, thanks to Mr. Ackerman and the noble students of Leadership, you guys can “Rent-a-Date With a Team-Mate.”

That’s right. You can save about a dollar and get a date with the Wildcat of your choice. Who said money couldn’t bring companionship?
