For all of you that are into extreme sports, a brand new 3 million dollar skate park just opened in Davenport, Iowa. After a couple years of no having a skate facility Davenport’s skate park committee finally got to it and after a year of building they are finally done.
Their goal was to make the biggest cement skate park in the Midwest. This project will attract a lot of people all over the country to come here and ride. Many contests to come to Davenport now but with the weather getting colder not as many people will use it in the immediate future.
Next season there will be a sfield and baseball park built right next to the skate are, and they will have lights and the park will be open at all hours of the day. Riders can stay out as late as they want and have as much fun as they want.
The skate park is opened to skateboarding, BMX, and Inline skating. There is no fee to get in or anyone watching. You also don’t have to wear pads if you don’t want to. I would recommend this park being one of the best ones I have ever experienced.
