The National Charity League Senior Presents is an annual event marking the graduation of senior girls who committed a lot of their time to community service.

The League’s Santa Barbara Chapter has many Laguna Blanca girls participating, ranging from seventh grade all the way to twelfth grade. Senior Presents is looked forward to from the start of seventh grade Ticktockers as an event they get to watch and dream about participating in it when they become juniors.

The event takes place in a ballroom at the Double Tree Hotel, and the juniors and seniors start off the event with a runway show, wearing clothes lent to them by local boutiques.

Once the show is over, the juniors meet their families at their tables for dinner as the seniors don their beautiful gowns.

Soon, the seniors come out one-by-one with the songs they picked to play, while a photo collage is shown on the screen.

Each senior is greeted by her parents after a speech is given about her for a couple minutes.

To end the evening, seniors invite their dads on stage for a father-daughter dance. The whole ceremony is about girls graduating to become women.

This year’s graduating seniors collectively devoted over 4,000 hours of their time to community service.
