World wide web whacked out: Searching the Internet can be interesting

Finding things to pass time is not always the easiest task; however, going to random websites can be a way to make time go by a little quicker. One of the most random websites would have to be www.craigsrandomwebsite.com. Craig’s site has a picture of his head spinning and all you do is click on his rotating head and it takes you to another website which is chosen randomly. For instance, it could take you to a science site, a news site, an advertising site, and an organ society website. The possibilities of where this site will take you are endless. There is another site quite similar to Craig’s. It is called, www.random-sites.com. You simply click on the link that is provided on the site and it takes you to another randomly picked site. Again, it is very similar to Craig’s site. The next random website is www.deathclock.com. This supposedly tells you the date of your death just by your answers to the questions it gives you. It tells you the exact day and year as well as how many seconds you have left to live. Curious to see if those urban legends you have heard are true? Then, visiting www.snopes.com is a website to check into for what is true and what is not. This site gives you a plethora of different categories to choose from, such as horror, Disney, and food tragedies. Once you choose a topic, it gives you choices of what you want to know. When you pick one, it lists off different urban legends that may or may not be true. There is a key which identifies what each colored circle means. There are green, red, grey, yellow, and a red/green used as the rating keys which tell what each legend can be identified as. Urban dictionary is a website that tells what many words used in colloquial speech mean. Basically, if you do not know what a word means, type it in and if it has been defined, it will show definition(s) to the word that is being searched. If it is not yet defined, there is an option to add a definition if you already know the meaning. As well, even if it is defined, there is still the option to add a different one. The internet can be full with whacky things, but it is up to the surfer to find those random websites.
