The stands filled up as one of the most anticipated rivalries of the season was about to begin, and by this I mean that our Lady Jackets were to face the D’ Hanis Cowgirls. Our lady Jackets had been preparing for this particular game the most, but do not think that these Cowgirls were not going to put up a good match. Over the past year both teams have increased their game play. Yet, thanks to the new head coach, the girls put up a hard and great match. “Since volleyball season started, I have been looking forward to the game. Sadly, I had back problems and was not able to play, but the ladies did great and even though we lost, it was a good game,” Stacey Alejandro, senior, said. As the game came to an ending the girls fell short with scores of 21-25, 18-25, and 18-25. |
