Lately, most people have AT&T or Verizon and they are becoming more and more popular everyday. According to AT&T’s headquarters in Dallas, Texas, the nation's premier wireless carrier, they are serving 74.9 million customers. While Verizon Wireless’ headquarters located in Basking Ridge, New Jersey assist 70.8 million customers. Also T-Mobile, Sprint, Alltel, and Nextel are good services just not as popular. However, Verizon Wireless has built and operates the nation’s most reliable wireless network. It is the only major carrier with a 30-day network test-drives pledge that pays for calls if a customer is not satisfied and switches to another carrier. The new Black Berry Storm from Verizon will give globetrotters, or in other words people who frequently travel the freedom of reliable global connectivity in a single, stylish handset. Some other touch screens are the Palm Centro, which is also on AT&T, LG Venus, in pink or black, Samsung Glyde, with a keyboard when you slide it, and the LG Voyager, with a touch screen on the front and flips open to a keyboard. Then there is the Motorola Krave and the LG dare which is quite like the Apple Iphone. Verizon has other cool phones that do not have touch screen such as the Blitz. It is a small blue device that looks like the square Apple Ipod Nano. From what fellow students are saying the LG enV2 comes in maroon or black and is very cool, unlike the first enV, it is more rectangular, smaller, and easier to carry around. The front screen is kind of small but it still lets you call or text from it. Once you flip it open there is a big screen and keyboard. There is a new LG Chocolate 3 that comes in multiple colors and it has a front screen but flips open like a flip phone. Most Verizon phones let costumers take pictures and make videos and send or receive them from a friend. AT&T has the nation's fastest 3G network. Unlimited calling within the largest mobile to mobile calling community 72.9 million people and growing. Also they have an unprecedented selection of handsets and devices to meet every need in the U.S. and while traveling. And just like Verizon a 30-day, no-questions-asked return policy nationwide lets you test out AT&T service stress-free. The most popular touch screen phone right now is the 3G Apple Iphone. It is a revolutionary mobile phone, with a great widescreen iPod, Internet in your pocket, 3G speeds that lets the customers access Internet frequently and successfully. Also includes maps with GPS and comes with an App store that lets you find applications in every category-from games to business, education and entertainment. AT&T has about 180 different types of phones and are still making new ones but some of them do not have fast service or text messaging like Verizon but they do allow you take pictures and make videos. The new Pantech Matrix is very stable. It slides two different ways, up and to the side. Some people may call it pantech 2 because it is a remake of another phone but way more slick. It is only $79.99 when you buy it off the Internet you save a lot of money. For example for this phone you would save $200. Over all AT&T and Verizon wireless have the most reliable phones right now, and the most popular services with the best policies in the world, and they are still growing. Probably by the next year or two these services will be the only ones in the world. So if you are looking for a new phone, do more research on the AT&T or Verizon services before deciding which phone to purchase.
