When you become a senior, you have to do a Senior Discovery Quest Project. The project is when you pick a question based on an urgent topic and you have to prove this question either to be true or not true. You have to write 5-6 critiques then a 7-9 page critiques on the topic proving whether it is true. Then, after the papers, you have to a 15-20 minute speech on your view on the topic. Everyone gets scared about the speech. The speech is not that bad, once you get up there and start going. Talking becomes no big deal and it is done before you know it. Also, to go along with the speech, you have to do a 20 slide Power Point presentation on the topic. Finally, you have to do a tri-fold on your topic and present it to the community in the gym, on the night of the school budget vote. The project is not that hard. If you just listen, and put effort toward the project, you will pass and be ready to graduate. |
