Taconic Hills downed Watervliet 36-10 to improve their record to 4-4 over the season during a varsity football crossover game at Taconic Hills. Nick W. had 140 yards on the ground with two TDs and completed 13 out of 15 passes for 72 yards and one TD through the air in leading the Titans to the win. James M. caught a 41 yard TD pass and returned an interception 60 yards for a score. Nolan B. had 12 carries for 103 yards and racked up two sacks, 10 tackles and caused one fumble. Chris M. rushed 10 times for 94 yards and Josh S. had eight tackles, nine assists, a fumble recovery and two sacks. Coach Pailley said, “I’m proud of our kids; this was a big win for us, and being 4-4 is a good stepping stone for the program”. Coach Pailley said “we were 1-8 last year, and it was the first time they had a winning record in five years. Hopefully, we can keep this going for the next few years, and have a winning record and make the playoffs. “
