The Rimrock Echo
Sunset StovesThursday, November 19, 2009 By Kayla Cross
Walking into Sunset Stoves, you get a cozy home feeling from the ambiance of the warm bright red crackling flame coming from the many fires, the sensational scent coming from the verity of candles, and the rich feeling from the many extravagant items. Sunset Stoves and Home Décor is owned by Kim and Dale Cross and has been in business for 15 years. The business owners are being recognized for their generosity during a Chamber of Commerce event. The Chamber holds an event each month referred to as Business after Hours. It’s held at a different locations each month to promote the many businesses in the community as well as to provide networking opportunities among the companies. Papa Murphy’s teamed up with Sunset Stoves to host this event. The night was filled with socializing, as well as a great arrangement of food and drinks; Papa Murphy’s brought down a pizza heater and oven to serve their home made pizza. It was announced that 20% of every purchase made that night would go to CCHS athletics funds. This turned out to be a big success. CCHS received roughly $350 toward athletic funds. That’s why Sunset Stoves is being recognized in this Rimrock Echo’s issue. A big CCHS thanks to Sunset Stoves for your support in this economic crisis. You have helped make playing sports possible. |
