Bobcats start baseball season in San DiegoWednesday, February 24, 2010 By Staff Report
BLOOMINGTON - The Bloomington Bobcat baseball team heads to the warmer, drier climate of San Diego to open the 2010 baseball season. The Bobcats will see their first action of the season down in the valley after being forced to cancel their February 23 season-opener with Sacred Heart due to inclimate weather. Bloomington will play six games in three days at the San Diego tournament, and will not see action again until they play in the Calhoun tournament March 4, 5, and 6. The Bobcats' home opener will be against Van Vleck at 7 p.m. on March 9. The Bobcats are coached by Hodie Garcia and Bryan Narodovy. |
