Daphine's a tasty treat

(February 28k, 2001) -- Entering the ancient temples of Greece, there is a calm sea, clear blue sky and a friendly host asking, “How may I help you?” Located in the Glendale Galleria, Daphne’s-a Greek café- cheerfully greets customers. A colorful menu to look at with prices ranging from $3-$9 is handed out once you reach the waiter’s stand. Dishes range from appetizers to main entrees. Their steak pita-skewered marinated steak with veggies, flame broiled, diced and wrapped in delicious pita bread, is only $4.89. The mouth-watering super gyros plate is $8.25, which is part of their super plates that are served with Greek salad, rice pilaf and pita bread. While the food is great and the environment is comfortable, tables do not seat more than two people; therefore, tables have to be moved to fit a larger party. Thus, tables are unstable. Other than that, Daphne’s is the perfect place to go to relax and enjoy a good meal.
