The 32 qualifying teams for the World Cup soccer game have pretty much been chosen. This year, I am rooting for Argentina. My favorite player is Messi and he is a beast! He is really young and everyone believes he is the next Maradona. Although Americans are not huge on soccer, I think that this years world cup will bring a lot of buzz. This is a huge event for the whole world and people from all countries get together to watch these games. It reminds me of the Superbowl for us Americans. i am predicting and hoping that Argentina wins. Hopefully there will be some sort of fun entertainment aspect to some of these games, like the previous world cup where Zinedine Zidane performed his famous 'head-butt'. |
