It will be a long summer and boring for some, so why don't you begin working on an essay that could net you a cool $1000 this fall? The Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo is working with Public Service Announcements in sponsoring a writing contest to display your creative talents and participate in a special "Academic Rodeo" in conjunction with this fall's big event, the HOT Fair & Rodeo with award winners in all divisions, including up to $650 for the Senior Class Division (grades 9-12) and $1000 in the School Divisions in TV, radio, newspaper, and magazine advertising for all McLennan County high schools.
