On June June 29 th , UB students finally got an afternoon of freedom. Freedom at last is what some students called in this special free time. The students got to do whatever they wanted to. Students had two more hours of free time than normal, after sports hour from seven o’clock p.m. to nine o’clock p.m. was eliminated because the Olympics competition was over. The Upward Bound staff rewarded them with cotton candy, popcorn, and a snow cone. In the lounge where they recently held the dance at, they had Halo War’s which was played on the Xbox 360 game console. Where two teams of four go head to head on Halo 3. Some students spent their free time playing basketball. While others spent their time staying in their room sleeping. Either way it went the students had a great time on their day off. |
