iPad- C: The iPad seemed to disappoint several. Seeming like the next big curve in technology, many have acclaimed it to be a “larger iPod Touch.” Some feel that Apple may be losing their touch with the debut of this sub-par product. Amazon Kindle- A-: I know, I know. Why would anyone be interested in buying a machine that you read books off of? Well, for the everyday student constantly needing textbooks and other books for English, this tiny, portable device gives one the ability to purchase entire textbooks on a little device. The textbooks are much cheaper, and we all know how much students are looking to save money. The Amazon Kindle is a steal! The Other Guys- B+: Once again, Will Ferell has been able to punch us in the gut and make us cry tears of laughter. Although the movie may be nothing special, it is a fun watch, especially for comedy lovers. Prince of Persia- B: If you are one for action and adventure, then this is the movie for you. Although the action scenes were thrilling and entertaining, the special effects may have gone overboard, making it too difficult to follow the story at times. The movie is about to be released on DVD, and I would consider purchasing it. The Prince of Persia is moderately entertaining chaos that gets the adrenaline going. |
